Please can you tell me when the road works outside our house are due to finish. We live at First Tower House located directly facing st Andrews Park on Route de St Aubin. A temp traffic light system has been in place for several weeks now. A temp Bus stop has also been placed adjacent to our house. We never recieved any mail drop to notify us and other residents that this was even happening. The noise is consistent and traffics is just awful. We are blocked in from exiting our property by cars blocking our driveway exit. Buses as well as there is no room or signage to indicate that there is exiting cars. When cars are to the left of us our line of site is blocked meaning we risk collision when pulling out to the right. There is constant traffic 6 x days a week and we cant even sit in the garden without fear of all the fumes that our children will be breathhing in from the traffic jams outside. Our 17 month olds room is on the front of the house. He is consistently woken up by motor bikes revving outside the house. lorries revving or music blasting from Cars while waiting at the temp light setup. Basically Morning during school run is a complete shambles for us and the dog walkers who struggle to get in and out of the house. I understand infrastructure works need to take place but with little planning or understanding the setup that has been put in place is not adequate for residents, its up to you to review this. As a priority, please can you get a "Do not block residents driveways", signage put in place and please tell us when these works are due to finish. I am actually going to buy an air monitor to see how badly the fumes build up at our house is affecting the air quality and will be taking noise tests to see if you are meeting your obligations.
